Eleonora MagnanelliHello my name is Eleonora (or Leonora).

I am a writer and a journalist.

Since 2010, I have been a freelance journalist in my hometown of Florence, IT.

Starting February 2017 I have worked between the United States and Italy trying to figure it out what is happening in a country that I deeply love.

I am based between NYC and Hoboken.

The road so far…

You can read my articles on the Florentine edition of La Repubblica, the Corriere della Sera online, and other Tuscan and Florentine magazines, like  the Reporter and Casentino Più, where I wrote about events, history, culture and human interest stories.

Take a look at my articles in my works sections here.

There you can find Andrea Verdura’s story, about his handcrafted shoes and sandals made with old fishing nest, or see how it looks an entire store full of rubber ducks in the city center of Florence.
But most of all, I love writing about people and hearing a good story about a past that I didn’t get the chance to live.

Follow me on my American adventures on my blog.

I am the person for you…
